The kind folks at BabyJogger sent me this sleek grey Vue Lite stroller to take for a test drive. I am sort of in love with it, and I know you will be, too.

I'm going to skip to the best part first- the parent-facing setting! The main reason we got a City Versa was for the parent-facing option. We have a high needs baby who wants to have an eye on her mommy at all times. Typically that required me to babywear her, but occasionally, mom's back hurts and she needs a stroller. When you are on the go, the Vue Lite is the perfect LIGHTWEIGHT stroller for your high-needs baby!
When I say lightweight, I am not joking. Even my 25-pound toddler can easily push this featherweight (a mere 14 pounds) stroller on a rocky walking path, or through the woods. She loves a good off-road trip!
OK, baby, that is enough pushing the stroller through the woods, time to get in and take a ride!!
And she is ALL smiles.
Don't forget to buckle up! The buckles are so easy, a CHILD can do them. But don't worry, they can't UN-do them.
When in parent-facing mode, there is a roomy, adjustable footrest, so baby can kick off her shoes and relax! Take in the sights! Enjoy the scenery!

When folded, it has this nice rubber handle for easy carrying. It fits perfectly in our trunk with plenty of room leftover for our 80-pound adopted rescue dog.

Now let's talk about MORE of the features! When in forward-facing mode, you can use the rear-facing footrest area to make a nice little basket for a small diaper clutch and water bottle (and shoes, if your kid is the kind of kid who constantly takes their shoes off!)
The sun canopy is ENORMOUS! You could definitely keep your sleepy baby happy and content in here for an hour or two while you take a nice long relaxing walk.
The foot break is flip-flop friendly and easy to use. Nice tall, padded handles make pushing this gem a breeze.
Check out the recline on this bad boy- I want to crawl up in there right now and take a nap. Although this has a generous weight limit- up to 55 lbs, it isn't quite designed for adults. I'll just have to wait until bedtime for my "nap".
The basket is small, but you can easily access it by releasing the tabs. I recommend traveling "Lite", or packing a small crosscarry bag for your snacks and baby essentials (Check out the KAVU Women's Bags).

ReplyDeleteLauren, I really think it depends on the child, but many strollers go up to 40-50 pounds. My 2 year old is only 28 pounds so I am sure she can ride in our stroller until she is close to 4 years old. I think 3 years old is NOT too old for a stroller at all!
