Recipe: Easy Asian Pasta Salad

We like to play "Chopped" in our house and try to make a meal out of the ingredients in our freezer and pantry.

Last weekend, I whipped up this little Asian pasta salad and it was a hit all around!

I microwaved the broccoli florets in the bag, cooked the pasta (with sesame oil), made the sauce (to taste), and then added some crushed peanuts. It was delicious!

Chocolate CocOatNut Dairy-Free Lactation Cookies

I am so happy that my dairy-elimination diet is working (more on that in another post) but I missed my favorite lactation cookies. I googled a couple different recipes and took pieces from each to make these chocolate, coconut, oatmeal, almond, and walnut cookies.

Galactagogue Cookies

A friend of mine cut this article out of the newspaper for me a few months ago. I had it safely tucked away in my "baby" folder, waiting for the day when I would want more milk (and/or some delicious cookies!)

galactagogue, or galactogogue, (from Greekγάλα [γαλακτ-], milk, + ἀγωγός, leading) is a substance that promotes lactation in humans and other animals. (Source: Wikipedia)

YUM - and I've started pumping once a day and it's been going great - thanks cookies!
