Our New Anniversary Tradition - Family Portraits

To celebrate our five year anniversary, we woke up early, got dressed up, and spent the morning with our wedding photographer. You may remember, we did the same thing last year (except then we did the evening, too many bugs), you can see those photos here
These photos are so special to me. I love the nod to our wedding (the clip in my hair is from our wedding day), the fact that we got some of us nursing, and captured the special love between my daughter and her daddy. We hadn't planned on nursing photos, but I love how they turned out.
Here's us celebrating our anniversary, and our family- at our home, on our condo building roof, and at a local park, taken last Fall (September 2015).

OUR STORY

Mike and I always knew that we wanted to have kids, and we knew that we would "just know" when it was the right time. After an amazing trip to Arizona, we came back even stronger- maybe it was the Sedona vortex, or the grandness of the Grand Canyon; but we were different.

The morning after we returned from Arizona, we hopped in the mini Cooper and drove up to Philly for my friend Sarah's wedding. It was such a personalized intimate wedding, we felt lucky to be there. There were several children there and they were all adorable. After the wedding we went to a bar next to our hotel and talked... about having kids. It was the right time.

After several months of negatives, I could barely believe my eyes when I saw two lines. It's still surreal, but becoming more real every day (especially as my pants get tighter and I feel more and more nauseous). Baby will even get to attend a wedding this summer, one of my very oldest friends in the world, Ashley. Our whole "family" is looking forward to it!

Quite Possibly the Funniest Blog Post of All Time

My girlfriends and I often send each other funny articles we find while surfing the net. It was several years ago now that my dear friend Heather sent me this gem of a blog post. It became EPIC, and you'll see why once you read it.

We now have our own giant metal chicken guarding our home - my husband asked for it for Christmas a couple years ago (I love him) and his mother bought it for him (I love her)!

(We presented Heather with the miniature Beyonce at her baby shower)

Article: Love and Wealth are Not Enough

Very interesting article for me as a parent, and as a child. This inspires me to know myself better, know my spouse better and to know my child better. I want both my husband and my baby to FEEL that I love them!

Through My Husband's Eyes

I downloaded all of Mike's photos from his phone when he changed jobs.
He never posts, downloads or shows me the photos he takes so it was cool to look back and see the past year through his eyes. (I didn't include the several hundred golf related photos)

Here's a little peak for you:

Pregnant at 20 weeks in Florida

30 Weeks

Baby rivals a good-size cabbage in weight, tipping the scales this week at 3 pounds.
Length: about 15 3/4 inches, head to heel.

We just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary, and it was a great day!

19 Weeks

The Baby is the Size of a Mango

We are on probably our last trip (at least flight) until after the baby comes. A little visit with my dad, Ashley & Leo's wedding, and a visit with my mom.

Here I am in Jupiter for my 19 week pictures:

15 Weeks

The Baby is the size of a Naval Orange

I've said goodbye to regular clothes as I've now got a 5 plus inch baby inside of me and nothing regular fits!

You got all the rest of the stats in my previous post, so ill just leave you with this photo, at the lake where we got married almost 3 years ago:
