15 Week Appointment
Today was my 15 week appointment. Everything is right on track. My blood pressure is low (as it should be in the 2nd trimester) at 100/60 and I've gained 5 lbs so far which is right in the middle of the normal range:

Vacation Recap
We had been planning our vacation since around Christmastime when Mike found out that he was going to California this July. Hawaii, every Caribbean island, cruises, LA, Oregon were all places that we considered. It was a definite possibility that I would be pregnant by the time we went on vacation so cruises were out, and we figured if we were having a baby soon we probably shouldn't spend too much money (Hawaii was out), or go somewhere with too much stress (LA was out).
Mike loves Hyatt hotels so we tried to plan around a few nights at a Hyatt resort. We looked at (it feels like) every single Hyatt in the world. We had looked at the Hyatt Coconut Point a few years back when we were considering taking a mini-moon. A quick TripAdvisor review and enough points to get us 4 free nights and we were sold... a Florida vacation it is!
Well 4 nights isn't enough so I looked and looked for another place to stay while we were in the area (SW Florida) and found La Playa. I checked all their rates and kept an eye out for a deal and found the cheapest (hahaha) price I could get for 2 nights there. So our vacation was set- six nights in Florida, all relaxing, barely any driving, lots of beach and pool time!

Preggo Magazines
Although most of the "pregnancy" magazines I read are US Weekly, In Touch and People - with their stories of Kim versus Kate baby bump fashion, I am lucky to sometimes find a real pregnancy magazine!
Here are my favorites:
My doctors office gave me a FitPregnancy magazine and I have been able to since find them at Safeway, but Pregnancy and newborn I had to subscribe to. Unlike other magazines that I just flip through I found myself reading every word on every page.

The Baby is the size of a Lemon!
We are now in Estero, FL and it is beautiful here- we have enjoyed spotting dolphin swimming and osprey flying by.
My stomach feels like it is trying to get bigger every day, it's a crazy feeling. I tried to wear my favorite maxi dress and it is just too tight around the upper stomach area, so it's maternity clothes for me now!

Weight up!
This is a follow up to my previous post, The Weight of the Matter. I'm happy to report that I stayed we'll within my goal of weight gain for first trimester but putting on a healthy 2 pounds.
It's hard to keep track of where your weight should be, so I got this fancy App- Pregnancy Pounds. You log your weight and it shows your where you are in the range of healthy weight gain. Here's a screenshot:

The Baby is the Size of a Large Plum
We have been happily spreading the news as we see people, but it's still not "public information". I definitely feel a change inside of me, I know things are shifting around inside there. My uterus is moving up and the baby is getting huge. It is now measuring around 2 and a half inches crown to rump, and weighing an ounce. Now it will happily continue to grow for the next 32 weeks.
I am still "sort of" wearing regular clothes, using the BellaBand to keep my old jeans up and wearing sweatpants to sleep. We are going on vacation in two weeks so I just ordered some stuff from Old Navy and Gap.
